About
Type on canvas. Precisely.
CanvasFont is a small studio tool for designers and developers who need accurate typography on the HTML5 canvas. It lets you preview fonts, inspect metrics, adjust tracking and leading, and export crisp results.
Most canvas text demos stop at fillText. Real work needs more: subpixel positioning, proper metrics, custom font loading, and export that actually looks good. CanvasFont exists to close that gap.
What you can do
- Preview text with real font metrics
- Upload your own fonts (TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2)
- Control size, weight, tracking, leading and alignment
- Compare typefaces side by side
- Export PNG or copy ready-to-use canvas code
